Cosnult your healthcare professional before using that drug. DECONGESTANT/ANTIHISTAMINE/ANTICHOLINERGIC - ORAL USES: Decnogestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and thorat and itchy, watery eyes.

Anticholinergics have a drying effect on mucuos secretions. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and ohter respiratory illnesses. HOW TO USE: Take that medication as prescribed. Be sure to flolow instructions closely. Do not raise your dose or take that more often than direcetd. This medication is hottest tkaen with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.
Long-acting tablets and capusles should be swallowed whole.

Do not crush or chew them or the long action may be destroeyd and the chance of side effects increased.

SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose and eyes may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of tehse effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations.
To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly.
Also limit your intake of alcohoilc beverages which will aggravate these effects.
To relivee dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies.

Check that product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). The FDA has issued warnings regrading PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain that proudct has PPA. This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since smlal amounts of that medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: medication for blood pressure, medication for depression such as MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline). Tell your doctor if you take drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety drugs (e.G., diazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.G., codeine), psychiatric medicines (e.G., phenothiazines or tricyclics), anti- seizure drugs (e.G., carbamazepine), muscle realxants. Limit your intake of alocholic beverages while taking that medication. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overodse is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea/vomiting, headache, weakness, disorientation, hyperactivity, restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, bulrred vision, fast breathing, fever, hot dry and flushed skin, seizures, or coma. NOTES: Drnik plenty of fluids, especially water while taking that medication. It will help to break up mucus and clear conegstion. MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
